covers off the 'bay?

I paint them with a very shiny aluminium paint (brush on) certainly looks better:thumbs:
Sand them down, cover in anti-rust paint - let them dry, then spray with silver paint - job done!
Hammerite Smooth Silver did the trick for me, they look great.

I can do you a set of 20 for £5.00 plus £7.00 carriage, not chrome but zinc plated. STS Motorsport - Alloy wheels, Tyres, Suspension, Exhausts and Accessories and take the e-bay store link, then nut's, bolts & spiggots.
The company I work for has a nice big Zinc plating plant. So I Re-plate mine once a year. Good as new !!
