My brakediscs on my Mito Cloverleaf have a rusty coating on the outsides. I've never had such prominent brakes on a car before, so not sure if this is inevitable, but it doesn't look particularly nice... Is this normal? Is there a fix for this?!

how rusty is rusty?

All cars we have had in the family over the years have occasionally collected rusty flecks on the discs (giulietta, mito, 3 series, Audi TT)

If it is on the part the pads don't touch, then yes it is completely normal.

If it's on the actual disc then it'll burn off when you drive and apply the brakes.
Yep, it's just from contact with water. Discovered this the first time I washed my own car. :)
