Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me how to remove rusted bolts, that have completely corroded, and fallen apart? i just want it off, then il replace 'em all
BTW its nuts from the exhaust front section to the cat.
Help much appreciated :thumbs:

Depends if you want to preserve the studs or bolts they are on. If you don't need to, I usually just zip 'em off with an angle grinder. A junior hacksaw can also get you out of trouble.

Ye i was thinking of just chopping 'em off, but its a bit tricky,
is they no trade secret were they'll just like magically fall off, :lol:

I would have thought you could get them with a hacksaw but if not you could try a nut splitter! Could be worth replacing them with SS if you're going to keep the car.

Where abouts in Lancs are you? If you're anywhere near Bolton you're welcome to borrow my nut splitter but I've never found it much good to be honest.

When you put it back together, use loads of copperslip on the threads and it'll come apart again next time.
