now the Spider has gone I am getting some mileage on the posh Toyota and it really is a
wonderful car to drive, great smooth linear power at the merest touch of your right foot. The downside is the 25mpg ( less on the local shopping trip) but I struggled to get much more than 30 from the Spider so I console myself that its not that bad.
The one thing I am not happy about is the run flat tyres, they let the car down.
On the other hand if I spend out on 4 new standard tyres and find oops its not that much better thats a lot of money flushed away.
Anyone else had experience of run flat tyres and the ride they give.It seems harsh to me at times and I'm sure the car was not set up with firm suspension so my guess is its the tyres.
Also need to get the wheels refurbed, any recommendations for a company to do this in the Reading area?

PS the Lexus forum seems a bit hit and miss so I'm posting this back on familiar territory !

Hankook K110 V12 Evo £500 a set or if you're looking to spend a bit more Michelin PS3 £745 a set. I bet either would give a much better ride, a 245/40 sidewall is not too low profile, the ride shouldn't be that bad.

the ride is not that bad,its just not as smooth as I thought it would be.
I want to get the suspension checked out sometime to make sure thats all set up as it should be
and if it is then I will get back to the tyres.
