Hello all,

After going over a bump, I noticed my 159 makes a rumbling or vibrating noise when turning left at 40+mph, and gets louder at higher speeds. I've read that it could be improper wheel balance or knackered bearings or all manner of other issues.

If it was your left wheel bearing I would expect it to be noisy when turning right rather than left..but it could be.

Noisy unloaded wheel could be knackered balljoints. Wheel bearing and universal joints could also be it.

Start with wheel nuts, and follow up with things that are either easy to diagnose or cheap to replace.

Wheelbearing are not that hard on the 159, but for the front axle you'd need to release (and possible damage) the lower ball joint. So better postpone that one.
