Ripped my rubber boot, lower arm ball joint.

I can buy these from ebay as someone pointed out - anyoneone know what size this is?

In fact i guess it would be handy if we know all boot sizes?

any idea which is the correct boot?
as i need to o this on mine
Number 3 is the one you want.

Did mine last year, I really struggled to get the upper securing ring on, they're like big key rings. You'll have to dig into the old cover to get the existing securing ring off.

In the end I used a bit of pastic pipe that was just the right size, slid the ring over the pipe, slid the pipe over the balljoint/cover then eased the ring off and onto the cover.

The lower ring is easy, put it on the cover before sliding it onto the balljoint...although I admit it took a minute or two to dawn on me.

Good luck with it.

Looks like I'm doing this at the weekend if the boot arrives.

Do I need to disconnect the arb and upper wishbone to give be enough slack to move the ball joint?

I didn't, see here.

Removed the long bolt that passes through the lower wishbone and suspension fork.

Good luck

Take time and keep anything you can throw at your car distant!

Its very easy but hard at the same time.......but a fun challenge.
