This prompted me to look at the websites again. I note that Ron's car are listed as having a 50% LSD (at least on the ones which aren't worn out). I believe this is fairly easy to modify (but I'd leave it to a specialist), but does anyone have any thoughts on how changing from 25% to 50% may affect a road going/track car?
I'm not made of money Besides, I'm not sure exactly how a different LSD will affect the car, so until I'm really, really sure, I'm not going to part with my hard earned. Besides, because mine is essentially a cammed twin spark, perhaps a different LSD will not make a significant difference
Hmm I've still got a fair bit to do on my TS, and right now a modded LSD is still just a thought. I still have to fine tune the front geometry, and get an outer synchro ring for 3rd gear for the otherwise rebuilt gearbox (with working LSD). I wonder how much it would cost to have the LSD ratio adjusted
I suppose its bound to help get a bit more sideways action though
