A nice day out in Gloucestershire,

First off, a flypast by a RAF and Italian Typhoon with tanker,

Then this thundered overhead,

and flew by with a howl.

More Italian formation aerobatics,

followed by the Swedish contingent, one of two SAAB Gripens displaying.

Not often you see contrails from a piston fighter, Trainer Sea Fury.

But you do from one of these, a Polish MiG 29.

Sorry ZF, but I wouldn't want to be in a Tank with one of these about,

Red Bull turned up,

B25 and F4 Corsair.

More fast jet action, RAF Typhoon.

A special flypast for Saturday only,

The Red Arrows and BA's new Airbus A380.

The Reds did perform a (rolling) show too,

and the Italian Typhoon seen earlier, took to the sky alone.

Before the BBMF arrived this specially painted Tornado from 617 Squadron took off.

Then the BBMF arrived with a clipped wing Spitfire,

Hurricane,

and, in this 70th Anniversary of Operation Chastise, an Avro Lancaster.

Which then linked up with it's modern counterpart.

Nearly done,

the usual noisy display from the Belgian F16 Solo pilot.

More classic piston action from the Catalina.

From the early jet age, a trainer Meteor.

Second appearance of a SAAB Gripen, this time from the Hungarian Air Force.

Having pulled out of the Eurofighter programme, the French brought their Rafale, which looks not at all similar.....

Finally, what's wrong with this picture?

Whats wrong with the picture? Bacon comes from pigs not bulls?
Yup, bacon is porcine not bovine, unless it's from Tesco's Bargain range where it's mostly equine.

A good day out, have fun at Southport Gaz, the air weekend at Swansea caused gridlock, but increased the entrepreneurial spirit of those with a bit of car sized land....
