I’ve had my 156 for sale for 2 week on here, Pistonheads and on eBay Classifieds, and for 1 week on Autotrader with very little interest.

What do I do now?

I cant comment on price but two things come to mind
a) short MOT - might be worth getting a new one
b) try gumtree - just sold my 147 through it though admittedly I was asking a lot less for it

How desperate are you to sell?

Being crude about it.....have you done an autotrader search and seen what you're up against?

Having just done that, your price seems not unreasonable - thought the miles are perhaps against you.

Some of the other sellers out there are mentalists.

I'm not dropping it to £2500!!

New MOT is a good idea though.

Mine was up at the market value according to CAP & Glass, I put it through an MOT (two new tyres fitted) which gave 13 months MOT and it sold for asking price within a week of being MOTd and within two weeks of being put up for sale. I'm sure you have already, but do a CAP/Glass price to get the real value based on mileage (couple of folks on here helped me out with that) and then act accordingly.

At the end of the day, it will only sell if someone wants it.
