Its awkward yes as there is not much space and you have to do one at a time.
I found doing that the most awkward of a complete engine swap simply becasue it was very slow doing one at a time on 8 bolts I think it is from memory.
Passing bolt through the shaft past the boot then holding the nut in place and using a socket while I just held the nylock nut inplace till it bit.
Just fiddly. Keep at it ;-)
