After reading the recent posts in the "For Sale" and the discussion about ride heights, I thought I'd ask how peoples cars compare to other 155's they've seen. I know Wrinx was gonna ask this anyway, eh Wrinx ????

My 1994 Silverstone is standard as far as I know. Compared to Shugs 8 valve, my car sits lower. Compared to Jason77's 16 valver, my car sits at the same height. Is there a list of standard ride heights for all the versions of 155 somewhere ???

According to the tech specs on this site the heights are as follows:

1.6 TS 16V=1440mm
1.7 TS 8V=1425(S), 1440(L)
1.8 TS 8V=1425(S), 1440(L)
1.8 TS 8V SILVERSTONE=1425(S), 1440(L)
2.0 TS 8V=1440
1.8 TS 16V=1425(S), 1440(L)
2.0 TS 16V=1425(S), 1440(L)
V6=1425
Q4=1425
2.0 TD=1425(S), 1440(L)
2.5 TD=1425(S), 1440(L)
Can't believe I just did all that eek!

Basically they should be either 1425 or 1440 for the Super. If they are lower then I guess its the springs that have sagged or possibly different production runs etc etc.

Any other thoughts?

Cheers guys. So there's really only 2 ride heights (except for the Eibach cars). It's funny, when the lower cars sit next to the higher ones, you really do notice the difference, especially in the gap between the wheel arch and the tyre.

My twinny is about as low as the Eibach lowered V6 on the rear. Possibly due to the fact that it has had the weight of a drumkit in it more often than the V6???
