Hi all apologies if this is the wrong place to post a question.

The rev counter on my MITO has started fluctuating slightly (up/down)on starting the car however generally in the colder weather was just wondering possible causes any guidance much appreciated. It is going into the garage tomorrow however just trying to do a little homework before taking it in.

I notice mine typically idles at around 900 rev's but when its colder the automatic choke kicks in and it sits at 1200 rev's until the engine is warm enough.

But if its erratic fluctuations and you're not jabbing the accelerator it could be a problem (air meter) get it looked at...

Mine does it.Dose not bother me.Goes away when it's warm.
