Hi all need some help please.

The back light on my rev counter has decided to go out, all other lights still work on the rev counter, like the indicator display and head light display bulbs, also the engine management light still comes on, also the speedo back light still works. So is it just as simple as the back light bulb? I had a year of pain free driving, but recently im having alot of problems and it is costing me alot of money. Thanks for any help.

Should be. The rev counter's easy to remove - a couple of screws to remove the shroud, then 3 (I think) to remove the gauge.

The bulbs just clip in with a 1/2 or 1/4 turn IIRC...

I've got a few that I removed from dead units/cars if you want some.
