Hold the unlock button for 10 secs, then hold the lock for 10 secs, then unlock again for further 10 secs. Try that. :thumbs:Hi, Guys

Thanks, DinoMito shall give it a tryHold the unlock button for 10 secs, then hold the lock for 10 secs, then unlock again for further 10 secs. Try that.
What was mentioned was part of the reset procedure required after the battery has been disconnected i think.Well the windows opened, and then they closed, and then they opened, but start stop still doesn't work! A call to the dealer looks to be the only option, hey ho...![]()
In That case I shall give that a go tomorrow, thanks, if that fails...What was mentioned was part of the reset procedure required after the battery has been disconnected i think.
Have a read of your manual about before disconnecting the battery as i'm sure it says it shouldn't be disconnected, but it was March when i looked at mine.In That case I shall give that a go tomorrow, thanks, if that fails...

Yeah I think thats the safest option, its all a bit esoteric for a simpleton like me, cheers everybodyA few other parameters need to be in place for stop/start to work remember. Battery needs to be at 80% charge or more, car needs to be warmed up, rear heated screen off, air con not at full blast etc etc etc.
If all is right in those respects then get it booked in to the dealer mate. 2 minutes on the diagnostic should flag up any faults![]()
And today it works, thanks for the advice, DinoMito, I owe you a drink if our paths ever cross:thumbs:A few other parameters need to be in place for stop/start to work remember. You're welcome though, I used to work with Alfa as a salesman until recently, so I'm fairly used to questions of this nature
