Hi,

I have had my Phase 2 V6 for a few months now and whilst the OEM stero has a 6 disc changer - I have decided to change the head unit for a more modern one.

I would be grateful if someone can point out what removal tools I need to get the OEM head uinit out.

Two bits of wire into the holes in the front panel. It's a single hole each side.

Also worth taking off the carpeted tunnel sides as it gives good access to the cabling.

Two slim nails also do the trick

I cut up a wire coat hanger to do this

As Chris says slim nails will work just fine had the same on my old 206

you can either buy the special keys to remove the deck or just cut up a coat hanger and slide it through the holes.

Slide in the coat hanger wire 4-5cm before applying pressure outwards to unlock the locking mechanism inside the headunit.

I had to undo the carpet on the left side to give the stereo a shove too.
