Hello everyone!
This is for a 1996 Spider 2.0 TS. I tried the search function but am not getting the answers i`d like. We got a new whadda ya call it (pardon my ignorance), its the chunky piece (ignition barrel??) from the steering column that holds the ignition switch/ignition key, etc.. I believe its what i saw on Fiat Eper, "Key Switch Ignition" .
So we had our neighborhood electrician check it out, and he says he would have a problem with the immobilizer (car will not start) if he disconnects the old "chunky piece". The guy says you have to reset something?? Any suggestions on how to go about this? I checked my Service/Repair manual CD and couldnt find something that addressed this, or maybe i missed it? Thanks!
