Hi all

I'm looking at replacing the stock head unit in the car with my Clarion VZ409e http://www.clarion.com/gb/en/products/2009/multimedia/multimedia_source_units/VZ409E/gb-en-product-pf_1172432367816.html

It is currently installed in my Chrysler Grand Voyager (which is off to the scrap yard lol) and I know that I needed an extra bit of wiring to convert the ISO plug wiring to suit.

I know that it's a long shot but I'm hoping someone might know if I will need something similar for it to be fitted in the Alfa? If so what, and where would I get it from.

Fitting shouldn't be too hard and I'd like to avoid having to take it to be fitted if at all possible

Hope someone can help

It depends on whether you have a facelift or prefacelift 156 and also whether you have steering wheel controls/whether head unit is compatable .
If its a facelift without steering wheel controls then the only thing you should need to do is swap the red and yellow connectors on your unit over

See here for more info

Edit - unless you have Bose then the remote wire from your head unit would need to be connected to the little yellow min plug
