Just got my crank returned after regrind - I sent all 4 pistons + rods - - - I'm left with 1x con rod with metal build up inside, where the new shells are destined - can this honed out or new / 2nd hand con rod (+ piston?) obligatory

I'm spending waaaaay too much on a V reg clutch + cam kits while I'm in here - and then the engineers return a conrod un touched (collected Sat a.m. over the counter with workshop guys unavailable for explanations)

I've got plenty of conrods if you need one......though not sure what "metal build up" you've got...is this the remains of the old shell bearing - if so it should just pry out.

You should be able to use your existing piston with a replacement conrod if you wish.....
