Hi all,

I have been (foolishly) putting this off for too long. The car is a NUvola Blue 414/b 156 Sw.

After preparing it back to good clean metal (it's solid under the surface) should you use an aerosol or liquid?

I have heard reasonable things about here:

Would this work. I don't really want to spend a large proportion of the cars value on repairs as the rest is not perfect, but the car is solid, and it would be a shame if the rust took hold.

Thanks

Felix

I'd rub it all down until you have clean bare metal, prime it with a zinc primer and then use a touch up stick and lacquer, rather than an aerosol - provided it doesn't go too far that is. You could go the whole hog and mask the arches and spray all of it though; depends how big the patch ends up being.

You need to know how far it's got under the paint that is still there.
