Driving along in our Renault traffic today(2012) model and heard an ad for the Renault traffic "sport" !! FFS, whats all that about?? the traffic eco will do a ton easily enough, A sports van??? oh Lord!

perhaps it acknowledges that some vans are driven in a 'competitive' style :)

Van buyers who buy their own do not want to look like humble operatives in their multibuy fleet vans . Perish the thought!

Not often realised, even by the drivers of such vehicles, but the UK National speed limits state that for a Commercial Goods vehicle under 7.5 tonnes which is NOT car-derived, the maximum speed on single carriageways is 50mph, 60mph on dual carriageways and 70mph on motorways. 30 mph in built up areas of course.
Doesn't say 95mph anywhere in the regulations that I can find - so a "Sport" van can only be bad news because one day that van will do an emergency stop from 90 mph and its load ........ won't.
