I want to remove and clean the brass coloured rails on top of the V6 engine (guess they're fuel delivery) Can they be dis-connected without fuel peeing out everywhere? I guess there will be residual pressure in the system? When re-connected will any air in the system be cleared automatically?

Remove the petrol cap to release any pressure and clip the fuel lines up above the level of the petrol tank. The system doesn't need bleeding when reconnected.

Thanks. The area i'm working on is higher than the tank so should have the same effect?
