Hi. The red airbag light has come on my giulietta. Had the codes read it came up with driver early crash sensor signal erratic. Anyone know where this sensor is on the car? Thanks

Mine very occasionally flashes this, twice in 5 years. 1st time no code was logged. 2nd time still no code and Alfa gargae didn't find anything wrong. Never been a problem afterwards.

I have replaced the sensor but the light is still on. Does the fault code need to be cleared with a diagnostic tool to turn the light out?

Not certain but probably. You could try disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes. The android version of AlfaOBD should let you clear airbag error codes - i've only cleared body/engine codes.
