Hi Guys/Girls,

Who would you recommend for tuning the GTV (V6 specific, but will listen to TS experiences)??

I've done a search but found it hard to conclude, ideally I am looking at remap options and whilst I know it won't yield great bhp/torque numbers, it should still offer gains such as sharper throttle responses etc.

My search has thrown up the following options:

Autodelta
Alfa Tuner
Red Dot
Richards Bro

If you can recommend one of these guys mentioned or any others then please post, especially if you have experience of them. If you want to then please pm me your thoughts if you feel it's inappropriate to post publically.

I know some have used red dot for remaps on their V6s and are happy with the results. I had a friend who used AD but found them expensive and went elsewhere. As for tuning V6s, I know they do a custom air intake and there's lots of discussion as to whether the oiled filter they use kills MAFs or not. At around £180 a pop for a new one you don't want one going if you can avoid it...Dunno about the others, hopefully more people will pipe up. Worth asking this question in the general section as other V6 owners (156/GT/147 etc) will have valid experiences too.

AHMotorsports for everything Alfa, unless of course it's PH2, as I think that involves some very specialist equipment or someint ... although Adie does lots of other "trick" bits for the V6 (including a 3.8l upgrade :thumbs

I've had a bit of a look around and I think that only AlfaTuner and Autodelta can remap your car (although I believe that AD send it somewhere to be done ...)

im still on a standard map but have tried a demo remap, made a difference so a custom one will feel better again

Gus worked his magic on my twinsparks standard chip, (i was running a 'superchip') the car now has a better, more linear spread of power and a bit more top end.
As soon as i have the money i will get him to do my V6
