got a notification in the mailbox yesterday that there was a recorded mail for me. Figured I forgot to make a payment or so, but it was a letter from FCA.

2.0 JTDM with TCT apparently could damage the wiring loom for the TCT by rubbing against the DPF. Must be pretty serious as it's recorded mail, not just a letter or being fixed during sheduled maintenance.

Anybody else get the recall? Might not apply to RHD vehicles, but think that part of the loom will be identical.

Mine is having this done on 20th April. The mechanic said he'd fashioned a temporary fix as he has to wait for the proper clips to arrive so the wiring loom can be moved clear of the hot area.

The 2015 car uses a slightly different version of the engine, so this problem is probably fixed already in yours.

I'm in the UK, and as I posted earlier, am having this done later this month. It is just diesel TCT giuliettas though, petrol engines don't have the DPF.
