yeah I'm sure you're laughing saying "ah Alfa electrics!" :) but is this a common (I daren't say that because everything seems to be common on an Alfa when it comes to faults lol).

I can hear the switches clicking, and faint noise from the motors, but it's as if they've come away from the mechanism or something so no longer move.

Ideas?

Try some silicone spray on the window glass, the may have stuck in the rubbers. The motors have a torque sensor to stop finger trapping. My start to go slow/struggle a little now and again.

could be the bowden cable has started to snap ? in the window
regulator had the same problem last year my cable had started to unravel and jammed itself .quick trip to the local cycle shop for a new
inner cable and a solderless nipple problem sorted

One of my rear windows has just snapped the cable. Are you able to just replace the cable or do you have to replace the lot. Any tips on replacement would be greatly appreciated.
