Wait for a dry day.
Jack up the rear and place on axle stands for safety.
Remove the rear wheels for better access to the arches.
Clean off any excess mud with a stiff brush and the pinch the wife's vacuum cleaner and hoover up all the little bits that are left (be prepared for the aftermath of wrath from the wife for using her pride and joy on your own pride and joy)
Use the vacuum cleaner on the interior while she is still in a mood with you (no point ensuing a second bout of wrath on a separate occasion)... Then you can always say "I only used it once!":cheese:
Finish off the fluff lined wheel arches with a liberal coating of silicon lubricant spray and rub it in with a cloth and this will help prevent nasty stuff sticking to the fibers as much:thumbs:
See!... The punishment and misery I have to endure to find a tip and trick that works for you guys?
