Righty, feel somewhat of a plonker for asking this but if there's a place to ask it this is it.

The rear seat definitely doesn't fold right flat, does it i.e. bum cushion doesn't flip forwards to enable that ?

I dont think it does at least its not mentioned in the handbook. Its on Page 103/4 of the handbook seat folding and it just mentions the parcel shelf and backrests.

No. The bottom seat stays in place and the back rest folds down a long way, but not horizontal

Dropped mine tuesday to get a roof box into the back. Its a really usefull storage area, but sadly not dead flat

Ideal - many thanks for that, what I suspected. The wording in the manual had me slightly confused - "then accompany the backrest and the cushion" - I wonder where I could accompany them to !
