Grrr!
Small wall made up of about 2 or 3 bricks, 6-8 inches high, just below the reversing sensors and invisible in the cabin. Luckily has just scratched around the outside of the exhaust pipe, no paint work damage. Very annoying but very lucky as well.
Googling for the OEM part is a nightmare, everyone wants to sell me some carbon fiber finned up boy racer thing. Not my thing i'm afraid. It's quite lightly scratched so might use some light wire wool around the area to make it smooth. Although that might make it worse.
Does anyone know the price, OEM code or any details of the factory rear diffuser/valance ? I didnt even know what I was searching for until a few searches around here. I think my first google was "polystyrene type material around exhaust". Shows what I know ! I can't be the first person to have "kissed" something with the valance, anyone done any touch ups? I know it's minor but it's doing my head in !!!
Cheers.

Good idea rjc, thanks for that. I'll have a search on, i guess i'd need some special tough paint as the area is prone to damage anyway, and will possibly need to repel some heat from the exhaust. I think I will get some light wire wool and try and 'buff' the marks out. Looking in the cold light of day the cuts aren't deep at all. I'd need to do this anyway if I painted it I think, and if it looks awful then i'll try and find the elusive OEM part card for a factory valance. I'll take some before and after pics with the wire wool.

When I bought a twin outlet one last year it cost ÂŁ55 so they aren't hyper-expensive. You could try a breaker too? If you need a trim for the exhaust pipe itself I have a standard one - it only pop-rivets on the end of the pipe.

The material used is for the valance is likely to be high density polypropylene which will be extended with talc content and moulded with a grain. It's unlikely you'll ever be happy with the results !

I had a damaged one when I got my g. My fix was some carbon look vinal wrap. It's a ÂŁ5 fix and even if it doesn't last long, I'll just re do. All you need is to take it off, clean it up, a sharp blade, hair drier and an hour or so of time.
