Hello All

Ive managed (just) to get the caliper off and discs off my car, but i dont seem to be able to push the piston back enought to get the new pads in. Ive pushed all the fluid out to try and let that help but it seems solid. is the piston on a thread? Ive not dis=connected the handbrake spring or cable (but it is "off" in the car).

Anybody got any suggestions on how to push the piston back?

cheers!

They wind back in. Search for a "laser 1314" - amazon are usually £15 delivered.
You can do it using pliers etc etc but tbh if you are not used to doing them just get the tool make your life way easier

Hi if it's same as 156 turn the caliper piston in using a home made tool to lock into the notches inside the piston.

I hope you haven't...!

As for the piston.
As above, very simple with the rewind tool.
I have the Laser one.

Agree with the above, absolute piece of cake with the Laser rewind tool. Did my a few months ago. I didn't bother un-hooking the handbrake cable either.
