Hello guys,

I need to change the rear ARB drop links on my 156 SW 2.0 JTS as the they are really worn out.

Two questions before starting the all thing :

1/ how hard is it to change the rear ARB droplinks ?

2/ does the car needs a new wheel alignment after ?

Thanks !!

1. Not hard, they're plastic, however if they're original will likely need cutting off. Replace with Meyle, highly recommended...plenty of sellers on the Bay.

2. Changing just the front or rear drop-links will not affect wheel geometry.

All the best

Hello Jb1979

Rear drop links are not difficult, just ensure you jack up on the correct areas ( NOT the rear crossmember!) and both wheels are clear of the ground, so no load on the roll bar, undo the nuts on the links, remove, fit your new links, tighten to between 3.8 - 4.7 daNm, then ( remembering to remove your axle stands first!) lower, and you're done! You don't even need to take the rear wheels off, and because you haven't disturbed any of the rear wishbones, you don't need to check/ adjust your wheel alignment....as long as it was ok to start with!

Bon chance!
Hope that helps
