Hi guys, I put a Ragazzon straight through rear section on my 3.2 Spider and was a bit disappointed really, so ordered the unsilenced middle section and OMG.

It is really loud, don't get me wrong, its a great sound but a little too raw for me.

So, I don't want to buy yet another bit of exhaust, so wondered if anyone fancies doing a swap?

What I would like is the silenced version of what I have, of I suppose a less silenced than stock middle section.

You'll end up with a really nice sound if you fit the single silenced rear with an unsilenced middle.

Don't be 'fooled' into fitting Ragazonn's small silenced centre section as it's virtually as loud as the unsilenced/strait through that you already have.....that's why we see quite a few nearly new ones for sale.

JP exhausts have offered to cut one in for £100 I might just do this.

Can you tell me, is the tail pipe silencer a straight through box (drilled transit pipe with wadding around it)?

I can see from the pics that it has to be chamfered so as not to knock against the underside/rear leg.

No idea, never taken one apart.

A single 'cylindrical' Powerflow 'silencer' gives a nice sound. Don't ask me the exact size or part number though.

I have the rear exhaust you are after with another box from the cat back on my TS. probably the type that Clive mentioned. I like having the two personally. Burbly on tickover and rasping on full throttle. I imagine it would sound even better on a 3 litre.
