All new exhausts take a while to soot up a little inside and then they sound a bit deeper than when brand new... Not exactly louder as OP wants, but nicer all the same :thumbs:

Well the gtv must be a shed then. As these exhausts are worth every penny. That's a good price £125 for a gtv. Can you let me know where you got it as me and some other members might buy a couple for that price.

Sorry mate! You don't need to go very far to pickup GTV's for peanuts, MOT failures are readily available if you happen to be in the right place at the right time! My most recent purchase had a failed power steering pump, and the bodywork is dented on most panels but the engine and gearbox are sweet as a nut as are most of the other bits and bob's. It's criminal the price of these cars at the moment.
