Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone here can shed some light or share a similar experience.

I have an Alfa Romeo Stelvio Veloce that I bought without the factory front radar. I’ve recently retrofitted the radar using a brand-new unit (not used or second-hand), and physically installed it on the vehicle.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

Installed the radar unit in the correct mounting location.
Performed a Proxy Alignment using Multiecuscan — everything completed successfully.
All systems appear to be correctly configured.
However, I’m still getting these persistent errors:
  • C1460-51 – Missing Calibration (Not programmed)
  • C1412-54 – Missing Calibration
Please see the attached screenshot for reference.

I also took the car to a specialist shop for radar calibration, but unfortunately, they were unable to complete it. The same errors keep coming back.

I’m trying to understand what “Not programmed” actually means in this context. It doesn’t seem to be related to the proxy alignment (as that’s already been done successfully). Could this mean the radar ECU needs to be programmed or initialized by Alfa software (e.g. via Examiner Smart or Witech)?

Has anyone here retrofitted the radar and gone through this same process? I’d really appreciate any insights, tips, or confirmation if you managed to get yours working.

Is it something to do with adaptive cruise control? What do you have enabled in proxi configuration ?
