Apologies if this has been discussed before. I did search but could not find a definitive answer.
I want to do a DP, will be using TMSS.
What I have read is that it wont trigger a CEL, is this true?
What type of setup is needed not to throw CEL without doing software or pnp?

Thanks

You need lambda fooler or spot cat. TMSS will know what is required.

U wont need a lamda fooler. I did 76mm stainless dp at Powerflow Randburg for R2700. Brilliant workmanship. No lamda fooler and no codes thrown. Its better not to use a lamda fooler cause the sensor needs to know that the cat is gone to send the correct message to ecu on our cars.

I'll have a chat with him when take the car in, maybe he was thinking about the MA engine.

Has anyone done a dyno run at fr&or centurion before? Do you have to make a booking or can you just show up?
I'm not expecting any major gains, just curious to see.

They have dyno evenings on certain thursdays. R150 for 2 runs. I go there often. Will find out when next one is.
JHB Alfa Club have annual dyno day's there early in the year (March) As Monsta says FR&R host their own dyno evenings. Best is to phone them - it does not take long, but just to be sure the Dyno is open , I'm sure they will be able to accommodate you quickly.

Alfa QV decat

Hi Guys,

Just to confirm, so no catfooler is needed in the 1750 QV when putting a downpipe ?
Surely the engine might over fuel?

Also has anyone had problems with their Turbos after this mod? As my QV turbo has needed to be replaced once already.

Thanks Guys!
