Was listening to a song on the radio.

What is a honky tonk woman?

If you squeeze certain bits do you get a sound like an old fashioned horn?

I beleive that a honky tonk woman may refer to a lady of the night so I imagine that if you gave her enough money then squeezed certain parts, she would make whatever noise you wanted.

Honky tonk woman means a black lady of pleasure - the Rolling Stones used the phrase:)
That was the very track. And it would give me immense pleasure if an old fashioned horn noise was emitted when a certain squeeze was applied.

I have a supplementary question:

What are the honky tonk blues? Are they a kind of perk up pill handed out by a woman that makes a sound like an old fashioned horn when squeezed in a certain way?

Bearing in mind the "honky tonk" was as said a drinking esttablishment, the "honky tonk blues" could well be a hangover from rot-gut whisky......

So what were Led Zep on about when Percy asks "let me be your back-door man.", on Whole Lotta Love?
I think that may have been a reference to a very specialised locksmith that only works on the rear entrances to houses.

I think Honky Tonk Blues should be a nickname for a football team. Everton or Coventry maybe.
