Got the Q2 fitted a couple of days ago now at AHM, but didn't really have a chance to test it out on the way home as it was just motorways. But took her out last night for a drive with a few mates that wanted to see what this Q2 was all about. Well I showed them alright, they could not believe how a fwd car with 262bhp could corner the way my car does! It's all down to the Q2, as it didn't corner like that before, I have more confidence now to push the car harder into corners, as I know what it can do. My mates were so impressed, they are even thinking of getting a 156 Gta! All I can say is a Q2 is worth the money, and I didn't expect it to be as good as it is, I'm so happy with it! Cheers Tom.

Good news fella. Still we want to keep the GTA reasonably rare in B'mouth. I'll be joining you by the weekend :D

I didn't have very long to use my car when it had the standard diff in but it was like a fight with the car when you put your foot down, roundabouts were not very fun when going round them fast and wet/snowy/icey roads could be quite dangerous  the car spat the old 1 out so it got the Q2 treatment at Autolusso, i think you can have so much more fun with them as theres not that feeling of 'oh crap' as you go around roundabouts  doing the trackday with it was pretty fun, ASR off and foot down .
Joss, you would have felt the difference between the 2 already :)

I don't have a Q2 sticker on my car, when i was at Stanford Hall & there were a group of GTA's parked together i was getting some stuff out of the boot of my car and because some cars have the sticker & some don't a bloke came up to me and started asking 'why is that 1 a 147 GTA Q2 and that 1 isn't?' I said it was the different diff etc and its just a sticker, then he asked 'why don't they all have stickers then?' After that he asked 'if it doesn't have a sticker does it not have a Q2?' followed by loads of other random questions about the Q2 and its sticker.

I tried my best to explain what it was and just because its got/hasn't got the sticker its the diff in the gearbox, i got stuck there for ages trying to explain and in the end his final 2 questions were...'why did you buy that?' & 'why didn't you just get a Golf R32?' because of that, i dont like the sticker

I stuck the badge on before I had the Q2 fitted. Was at a Spring Alfa Day and everyone was asking me about the Q2 and I had to admit it wasn't being fitted until the following week!

I like the Q2 badge, I think it looks great. So that's why it's going on the bottom right hand corner of my boot!
