this happened to me recently while my cams were adjusted from a "retard" to normal settings. when i switched off the engine, and if i put my hands on the steering wheel, i could feel some pulsating sensation.
it's some kind of vibration but small enough for you not to notice it except when you are touching the steering wheel. am i making some sense?
does anyone know anything about this?

or just the flow of fluid slowing down after the pump has stopped
