..I actually like the colour, love the spec but not the spoiler.

Clive
What he said.

I like the colour and personally (colour is a very subjective thing) prefer a more strident colour than silver, dark blue or pink!

A special car needs a special colour!

Its not a colour I'd of chose if I purchased it new thats for sure!! can't believe someone stood there and ticked that box!!! lol.

But, it is growing on me now. As for the wheels I think they will stay on her. They are big but suit the car IMO. Spoiler, well yes it suits the car almost dare I say better than the aero one. And it's made by an Italian company which made me feel better, but I'm going to carbon wrap it I think.

But yeah, great car and the colour on a sunny day in the flesh almost works!!

Sargassi green looks better in the flesh than when pictured.. Has it been lowered do you know?

Much prefer the Aero spoiler though, sorry.

Is it a 6-speed or a 5-speed? I would guess from the lack of Teledials, Aero spoiler and front splitter that its a 5, but I could be wrong.

For the money looks great. I don't particularly like sunroofs but I'd put up with that, the wheels, spoiler and colour for that car at that price.

The colour was a bit trendy then, the Rover 800 come in a similar shade and a colleague has a Jag X300 that colour too.

You may want to put some grease on the bonnet/door hinge assembly.

Well done. :)

@ 156zoo only wrapping the spoiler in carbon effect, if were to wrap a whole car I'd go White.

pud it's lowered yes not sure with what though.

The sun roof I thought was a right bonus BTW, didnt know it had one but it works fine and no leaks, the car has been undersealed and is impeccable underneath interior is like new aswell. My previous car when I got it for under 2k needed a spruce up and you could see it had done good few miles and maybe had one or two owners who didnt care much for it. When I sold it she looked great but I wanted a lower mileage one. This car I really cant believe how mint she is.

I think what she needs is some White or black stripes just above the side skirts like the old retro style with the GTV logo at the rear part of vynil.. if that makes sence. Ice seen a pale blue track car on here with it , looks better than it sounds.

I think it looks great without any changes, but it's your car and your money. Are there really no functional upgrades or fixes needed?

I don't know how much wrapping the spoiler or adding bits of plastic to the flanks compares in price to a set of AutoLusso's mega powerful front pads. You said yourself how much better this one drives compared to your last one. You can't see the flanks or the rear wing when you're driving it, but you will hear and feel it when a suspension bush or link needs doing.

We all survived the Mrs Merton style heated debate about GTV values, how much damage to the value of your GTV will you do wrapping the spoiler and adding some stripes to the side? Retro style GTV graphics on the side sound a bit Ford Capri to me. It sounds a bit carnoisseur catalogue, do you have a well lunged, orange bimbette to go with those stripes? That's a cracking looking car at a great price, do you really want to risk making your bargain less desirable to any potential future buyer by c*cking around with it?

As I said, it's your car and your money and your choice. Have you put any grease on those bonnet hinges yet?

What a bargain.. it is certainly a grower. Colour and spoiler look better second time round in your new pictures. Actually prefer the spoiler to the aero one and think the green and interior colour goes well.

I think it looks great without any changes, but it's your car and your money.
Must say I agree. Not liking the idea of carbon wrapping the spoiler.. It looks great as is!

I cant believe you got such a bargain! Slightly jealious as I just paid £2250 for a slightly tatty V6 (few dinks and bumper colour mis-match). Although I do love my Alfa in bright red with matching interior.

Regarding sunroofs, I don't like them on any car not a specific gripe about yours. I've discovered a positive to glass sunroofs this year, they at least enable you to see if that thing strapped to the roof rack is still there.
