Anyone know how much this plate would be worth as my friend said it could be worth alot and if so i might part with it?

Mate it depends on your idea of "a lot." GTV's are a shrinking pool so less and less people wanting the plate. The DVLA have L222GTV listed for £255. I reckon you may if you are lucky get £150 - 200 for yours.

I paid £245 for S23 GTV from the DVLA 2 years ago......the only ones worth more are single digit ones.......

i brought my one for £125 with the letters ending in gtv....the most i have seen someone ask for one recently is £1200 on average i have seen them fetch between £300 & £600...

The price they fetch nowadays seems to be very much a supply and demand price..

If you were willing to sell id auction it ,and set a reserve price you would be happy with....

There are companys whom deal in buying and selling plates mybe someone else could advise on this as ive only dealt through ebay....and to be honest i would try and sell it through ebay first and set it at a reserve price i would be happy to let it go for,or a buy it now price..

There are always masses of adverts for number plates in the back of papers - especially on a Sunday, might be worth a go.
