Had a strange experience today chaps.

Pulled off the drive this morning and thought I had a flat but I didn't so I carried on to my destination with caution.

Anyway, to cut a long story short I ended up at Budgens in Shrewsbury and it turns out the power steering has thrown the belt. No sign of the belt in the undertray either.

Has anyone ever tried driving a car with low profile tyres with 19 inch wheels? It was damn hard work and probably a bit dangerous as well :tut:

Are they replacing the pump etc?


Make sure they checkout the rack whilst they're at it.

The same thing has happened to Nigel Read's Ti, more than once IIRC.

I had a new belt fitted at Mongo's, along with some new fluid
