My power steering is increasingly making loud protests, and seems to be airating the fluid, especialy when its hot.:( Changing the fluid several times makes no difference.

I've read on here something about a possible choked filter, not being familiar with these cars can someone guide me to where it is?

Is it worth flushing the syssem with some kind of cleaning solution, say some fluid with some solvent in it, followed by fresh fluid? (mind you it would cost a fortune in fluid!)

Any help much appreciated - i've never heard such shreiks and whines from a car, and its really really loud at times!

Is the level dropping at all. It may be a tiny hole in the front pipes which will building up un the radiator support and undertray before it leaks.

It's not lost a drop. It seems to me the trouble stàrted after I removed the treacle that was in the system and replaced it with fresh.

It's had about 6 litres of fresh fluid through it.

I've seen mention of a filter that chokes, but where is it, and how do you get to it?
