Today I changed my corroded and leaking fuel line with some high pressure rubber hose. This'll get me more than 26mpg I was thinking. Then I noticed while testing for leaks that my zorst is leaking at the join before the cat eek! . This'd knacker the mixture thingy that the lambda reads for sure. It looks like the zorst has been blowing for a while judging by the totally corroded nut and bolt (now resembles a blob) on the bottom of the cat flange. All the little drips of water you get have done their job alright :( . Hopefully a 20p nut and bolt will cure this when I tighten it up.

BTW why did they put 1 foot of metal fuel pipe at the bulkhead ????? The rest is either PTFE type stuff or rubber hose !!!
