The girl in Squadrone Rosso's "Gonna" thread was very lucky.

I just noticed on the front page of Business Car a piece on these cars needing upgrades later this year as they have been downgraded by NCAP's more stringent testing to only 3 stars because of disappointing results in the latest crash tests.

The current models lack such modern basics as side impact airbags, ESC, seatbelt reminder, isofix and a top tether in the outboard rear seats but they should be in place by July.

The pre-facelifted models were awarded 4 stars in the less demanding tests of 2005.

Interesting. If she'd had ESP installed, I doubt the car would have flipped like that.

Our 500 doesn't have TC or ESP & can get a bit skitty on the rear end. I love it, Clare says it's scary:lol:

I was overtaken by a C1 on the m25 this evening and thought that driver was optimistic about the cars potential if anything was to go wrong!
The Citroen nemo version of the fiat fiorino lacks the stability control apparently so must avoid elks.
