Is your Mito your first Alfa, or have you driven others previously? If so, which ones?

Me: New to Alfa. Can't see myself going back to Ford anytime soon! ;)

New to Alfa so yes my MiTo got me into the club :)

My eldest bro had a Sud when I was climbing trees and playing conkers etc and I do remember loving that Sud!

take care,

New to alfa, but I always wanted an alfa (Haven't had the chance to get one before since i've only been driving for a year).

I thought alfas looked very stylish when i saw some on the road especially because of the front grill and numberplate to the side (it's unique)

By the way that's a nice colour mito jackus (In your avatar)

Alfa definitely have a winner in the MiTo as far as attracting new owners... but beyond that, existing enthusiasts are largely impressed too

Ok, it may be a slightly different direction, but change is necessary if you don't want to go the way of the dinosaurs!

I loved my 1983 Alfa Sud Gold Cloverleaf for the year and a half that I had it when 18, but it rotted out and had to go
You're right, the mito is not sold only because it is an alfa (as many other models have been). A typical alfa romeo has good looks and a soul, no matter what the quality of the build is, but the mito combines the typical alfa romeo traits with the things that people buying a new car want, i.e. reliability and up to date technology.
As for the styling of the car, it certainly opens up the car to a bigger market than if it just looked like a typical corsa/fiesta

I too am new 2 the Alfa ownership experience. I was looking at all the usual small cars to replace my Clio 172, so nearly bought a Fiat 500 as i wante something different and they look smart. Then the day i was away 2 order it i saw a Mito and remembered how much i liked them when i saw the 1st pics. So off 2 Alfa garage and bought it there and then. Cnt believe i nearly forgot them? Cnt wait 2 be a true petrol head, i doubt ill go bck 2 "normal" marques now and i haven't even picked it up yet.

Yes, I'm new, but I was going to get either a Fiat 500 or a 147 Collezione instead. In fact, I was going to get a fiat 500 until I saw the 147 Collezione, but then very soon afterwards, I saw the Mito and chose that. So it was probably about 50-50 anyway as to whether I was going to own a Fiat.

Not just new to Alfa, but new to giving a damn about how cars look.
Had an old Escort, then bought a new Skoda Fabia 5 years ago cos it was economical, reliable, fairly cheap and good fun to drive (compared to the Escort lol!). Fully intended to run it into the ground.
Then I saw the Mito advertised on TV and thought "what's that?". Then looked on Alfa website and thought "very, very nice". As luck would happen the missus was thinking of buying a Fiat 500 and the Fiat and Alfa garages in Nottingham are right next door to each other...
I knew having a test drive was foolish!

Got my Mito ordered a couple of weeks ago. Etna Black but part of me thinks Red was the way to go - too late now it's already "Fixed" for production so no changes.

I can't wait until it arrives. Love the car, and really pleased with the build quality that Alfas have. Have already had people saying "AN ALFA!!!!?!" but I ignore 'em!

New happy Alfa driver.

Before this, a tank-like Citroen AX, and before that a horrible wee Vauxhall Nova.

This is a major upgrade :)
