...my dear 159!

Been about a year now, and theres been a few knocks, bangs and creaks from various parts of the car.
  • Drivers front likes to clunk at very small bumps on the road/curb.
  • Drivers rear seems to clunk also.
  • Car pulls to the left

Passed the MOT last year, garage couldn't find anything, but I've decided to take her in tomorrow. Really want a smooth/noise free ride again!

Hoping for nothing too expensive.

knackered wishbones/bushes/track rod ends are most likely...

Do the work yourself and it won't cost much....alternatively might be snapped springs...again, do the work yourself and it's dirt cheap.

if its the springs, it should be 1-2 hours labour (springs are about £30 each)
if its the wishbones similar, if its the bushes its a bit more

Some road surfaces you have been on in the past year, for that cough out of cash.

And she's back!

Feels like a new car to drive. What a transformation!

Garage said all parts were original, which isn't bad after 135k.
