Hi All,
Apologies if this is going over old ground again but I need to some advice on what options are available to replace the head unit in my Brera. It currently has the bog standard head unit without MP3 functionality or Blue&ME so fiddling with single CDs seems a bit old hat with the technology on offer nowadays!
I don't need anything 'all singing all dancing' so DVD and SatNav are not absolutely necessary. Having checked previous threads and available units, the pioneer / kenwood / alpine units coming in at anything between £500 - £900 are a little overkill in this instance.
I already have a standalone Bluetooth Parrot unit fitted so this also isn't strictly necessary. My specific requirements are
- CD player ideally that plays MP3s.
- iPod / iPhone connectivity
- USB / memory card connectivity would be a bonus.
I'd also be looking to upgrade speakers to improve the sound so some weighty amplification / output would be good also.
I'm thinking of a total budget of around £750 which would include head unit / speakers and specialist fitting / cables / connectors etc. In this case, I'd figure around £500 tops for the head unit alone with this in mind.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Pete.
