Hi,

I'm looking to replace the static front belts with inertia ones and then put the statics in the rear to make it safer for the kids. There's no fittings iin the rear of my 74, so does anyone have a pic of rear belts in a later model so I can see how theyre fixed?

Thanks

Haven't got any pics (or GTV) but normally you fix 3 point belts as far to each side at the parcel shelf, on the inner rear wings low down and in the mittel of the floor pan undet the seat. All fix points with hefty supports behind (like 2-3" thick washers). Check for rust or correction where you fix the belts.

I saw you call your self Simon GTV, so I thought it was a 105 GTV but realize it for a '74 Spider.
I have no idea how to fix rear seat belt to a Spider. Anyway, I would never put children in the back of a Spider except for a baby in a crathel or something.
When fixing the inertia belts, the fixing point below and behind the reals steal a about 4" of the seats backwards travel. I found som angeled brackets for my '70 Spider to place the reals on the shelf behind the seats - I don't have the "seat cushion" in the back.
