I’m in the process of changing all the bushes on my V6 to powerflex.
The spring pan and dog legs have all gone together really easily, the ones I’m struggling with are the rear wishbone bushes, these seem to be very very tight and don’t sit in the arm very well at all

In that last picture the bush has mushroomed out over the hole in the wishbone.

Any suggestions as I’m at a total loss here

I think you’re having the same problem that I had… looks like there is still part of the old bush in there. It’s quite difficult to spot when you don’t know it’s there. Once it is out, the bushes should push in relatively easily by hand.

Have a quick look at this thread from about post #26 which goes into a bit more detail with a few more photos.

Nice work… you’re a bit ahead of me but I’ll hopefully catch up a bit as mine only needs moving a couple of yards from the garage to the car. What bushes did you use? They look like Powerflex so any tips on getting them in? The bushes were done by a previous owner (thank you whoever it was...

Glad you got it sorted… took me a few weeks of head scratching to realise that was the problem helped no end by some good advice from various forum members.
