Longish story ... one of my neighbours is having a tree cut down today, in the process of grinding the stump a stop has flown into the rear screen on one of the other neighbours 106 smashing it into 1000 bits ... but now the car won't start ...

First thought was petrol? yes it's got a full tank ...
Second ... Fuel cut off valve? yes it's got one and we pressed it (as per the manual) and that made no difference ...
Third ... couldn't think of one ...

What could it be (obviously apart from being a lump of French rubbish) ...

Was it only the rear window that got damaged and nothing else? 206's have an inertia switch under the bonnet, dont know about the 106. Any airbags go off?

No airbags went off ... I believe that the fuel cut off switch is the inerita switch ...

... looking out of the window the car isn't there anymore so I presume that it's working again ... (have to be honest I got bored looking at it and went and did something else) ...

Thanks anyway
