Hi,
I have been advised by my garage that I need to replace the petrol tank on my 166. Another garage has tried to repair the leak previously without success. Can anyone advise me on the best place to find a second hand tank?

Have you checked whether this car was recalled to have the tank replaced. There was a recall on the petrol tanks because of that precise problem. Yours looks like it slipped through the net.

Can't help you out quickly, but my 2001 Sporto is going to be broken soon-ish and I could ask them to keep the tank for you. Likely to be a longish wait though so probably no help.
